Discription:Woven on silk, pile  being part silk, the master weaver Hekmatnajad has created a design of rare beauty  and excellence . Falling into the group 2 pattern category, the magnificent 16 point centre medallion is contained within mirrored harp shape  open border. The medallion, in all its detailed magnificence, must surely have  been inspired by the dome of the Isphan Shah Mosque. Flanking the centre  medallion are four corner rectilinear medallions. The main design is of the leaf patterns an a profusion of various flowers, all built around the main feature of lotus. Gentle soft pastel colours restrict the immense detail of pattern to a masterful level of welcome acceptance.
